Join us Saturday June 14th 2008 for our CONTAINER WATER GARDEN COMPETITION
Water Garden Containers are living, working art forms...
LivingThere are hundreds of beautiful aquatics to choose from. Use form, texture, and color to highlight and enhance your living design. Perhaps even a goldfish?
WorkingWater gardens are a delight to the senses. The sight and sound of water gently moving in your container water garden will add a visual and audible design element. By adding a bubbler, small waterfall, fountain, lights, or fogger one could further enhance their design.
Art formThe containers can be anything you can come up with. Weather it’s a pre-fab, hypertufa, woven baskets (water tight of course), wooden tubs, to sculpted rock. The only thing stopping you is your imagination.
JUDGEWe are honored to have Rob Dietter as our judge this year. Rob is the owner of Dietter’s Water Gardens in North Haven, the largest aquatic nursery in Connecticut.
